WHERE DO OUR PRODUCTS SHIP FROM? 

The ThredCartel uses global merchants and artisans in order to provide you the best prices and the most interesting products. This means that your order is shipped from global areas such as Thailand, Tibet, China, India, United States, etc.

Keep in mind that we also offer international shipping options as well - no matter where you live, you can buy from us!

IS ONLINE THE ONLY METHOD OF PLACING AN ORDER?

Yes, all orders must be placed through our website in order to ensure the highest level of security while processing our customers’ personal information.

DOES THE THREDCARTEL HAVE A BRICK AND MORTAR LOCATION?

Currently we are only featured as an online store. Be sure to subscribe to our emails to be the first in the know of any updates. 

IS USING MY CREDIT CARD SECURE?

The ThredCartel takes the security of your personal information very seriously.  We protect your credit card information a SSL certificate.  The secure socket layer (SSL) protocol encrypts your data that makes your transactions secure.

DO I HAVE TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT IN ORDER TO CHECK OUT?

We do not require that you create an account.  However, personal information will need to be provided upon checkout.  At that time, if you choose to create an account, your personal information will be saved into our system.  Please review our Privacy Policy for more details.

SHIPMENTS
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SHIP MY ORDER?

Typically, it takes 3-5 business days (excluding Holidays) to process all orders before they are shipped.  Once your order has been processed and shipped, confirmation will be sent to the email provided during your purchase checkout.  Emails will contain your tracking number.

Because we ship directly from our partners in these countries, your item may take up to 12-20 days to arrive after processing. Overall, this will depend on the product as well as the destination.
 

HOW CAN I CHECK MY SHIPPING STATUS?

Once your order has been processed and shipped, confirmation will be sent to the email provided during your purchase checkout.  Emails will contain your tracking number.
 

DO YOU SHIP TO APO/FPOS?

We do not offer APO/FPO shipment at this time.  We are looking forward to offering this service soon.
 

DO YOU SHIP OUTSIDE THE US?

Yes, The ThredCartel ships worldwide for free.

THE TRACKING NUMBER FOR MY ORDER STOPPED UPDATING, WHAT HAPPENED? 

If you're buying from outside of the U.S. (particularly in Canada), your country's customs department may decide to hold your items at the border temporarily, often without explanation! Note: Canada's customs department takes a particularly long time to resolve these holds. This is relatively rare, but if your order is held up in customs, we suggest calling your country's customs department directly and ask that they release your items immediately.

Note: if for some reason your order is never released by customs, we'll send you a replacement!
